A burglar has been caught out after leaving his name at the scene of the crime. Daryl Lewis was caught at Ferndale Lodge in St Marychurch, Torquay, but dropped his wallet, which contained his name and address, and he was even photographed leaving the establishment by a passerby. Judge Francis Gilbert QC told him: "You stole a wedding and engagement ring from an 85-year-old widow which caused her immense upset and distress because they had been given to her by her late husband." As a result, Lewis has now been jailed for 30 months at Exeter Crown Court after admitting two counts of burglary.

Man arrested for having sex with horse - a second time

A US man has been arrested for a second time for allegedly having sex with a horse. Patrick Linn has been accused of breaking into a barn belonging to farmer Allen McDearmid and having sex with one of his equines - which is exactly the same thing he was arrested for in 2010, WCTV reports. But the only change on this occasion was that Linn showed his affections to a different horse - called Sunny - and he has since been charged with burglary, trespassing and sex acts with animals. Allen said: "I would say it's hard to believe, but I had a feeling he'd be back because I believe it's a compulsion-type thing with him."
