The CEO and creative director of Keto couture, Mrs. Kenny Eyitemi Okorie, opened up to journalist on her plans to showcase her most recent collections in extra-ordinary fashion shows that will span across European countries, United States of America and South Africa, as the fashion world is preparing for summer collections.
The adorable black-skinned tall lady, who hails from Delta state, Nigeria, recently showcased some of her collections in a fashion show which she jointly organised with the publisher of Tru Star Magazine in Oriental hotel, Lagos.
While answering questions from journalists, she said, the reason for her tour is to show the rest of the world that, as far as fashion and style is concerned, Africa will be counted amongst the front liners.
She also stressed the need for the government to invest in the fashion industry by granting credit facilities to up and coming fashion designers to enable them break the barriers militating them from achieving their objectives. She also emphatically mention the need for modelling agencies to spring up to help propagate the fashion industry by identifying, recruiting and training models which the fashion industry will feed from.
